Nearly 50 people (including 13 youth) joined Tacoma Indian Center’s Health Sovereignty gathering Nov. 4, 2023. Participants learned how to cope with grief during the holidays including fentanyl awareness. People received Narcan training, registered to vote, played giant games, and got free books, clothing, candied salmon, and more! Youth shared fentanyl facts, provided handouts and flyers, and used a spin wheel to engage the audience.
